Collective labour agreement
Holland Casino and unions announced the good news on Wednesday evening. In the last few months several strikes to place at the branches of Holland Casino. Unions like FNV and De Unie demanded a better collective labour agreement than the casino offered to its employees.
It took a long time before the parties agreed. Eventually they decided that the employees of Holland Casino will get a lump sum of 4.5 percent in 2016, followed by an increase of their payments in 2017 and 2018. In 2018 and 2020 the salaries will increase according to the average CLA-wage of the previous year.
This new collective labour agreement will provide certainty to a lot of people, not only because of their increased salaries but also because of the fact that there won’t be any redundancies. It means that no one will be forced to resign in the period between January 2016 to January 21.
